Bangkok Airways informs that from July 14, 2019, all agents working in the main booking systems have the opportunity to issue an EMD to collect charge penalty. Until 31 August 2019, Bangkok Airways allows agents using any booking system to use the “OB Tax Code”.
Now the booking process for children travelling as an unaccompanied minor (UMNR), Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS will become more flexible. The enhanced use of EMD on connecting flights provides the following: it no longer matters which of the three airlines operates the flight, which flight number (OS/LH/LX) is booked, or which document (OS/257, LH/220, LX/724) is issued with the ticket or EMD.
